Small business is big . . . According to recent statistics, small businesses in America account for more than half of U.S. sales, more than half of all jobs and almost 70% of all net new jobs since the 1970’s. Furthermore, the small business sector is growing rapidly. Since 1990 small business has added 8 million new jobs.
The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce understands the positive impact of small business in our community and works hard to create a one- on- one relationship with our small business members. We offer programs tailored to their needs, including networking opportunities, educational seminars and grand opening/anniversary ribbon-cutting ceremonies to welcome and celebrate our small business members.
The Chamber also offers a “Member Matching/Mentoring Program” – a centers of influence program where new businesses can gain insight and recommendations from the experiences of local established business.
